John 3:17 (NIV) For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Lord, we love you.

We have days where we are tired. We have tried. We maneuver, we plan, we pray and just output. We think we need to do more and try harder. Our ways. We fail. We are human, we have weakness. We fail each other. We try. And it’s just hard. We cannot offer each other peace or console ourselves. Not for a lack of trying. We just need to realize something.

Do not do it alone. Don’t rely on your own power. Do not seek to boost yourself, or attempt to raise yourself up alone. We wobble, we are on tippy toes bit we are not sturdy….

Reach upward with your heart. Surrender to our Lord. Father…all I need is you. Jesus walk me to the gates of heaven, my Prince of Peace, my savior who will walk beside me every step of the way. I am not worthy, but YOU are worthy of it all.

I will make room for you Lord, you alone will take me higher. You who know the hairs on my head, who knew me before I was even created.

Your creation. In your eyes, I am perfect, I am loved.

Always.

Sigh.

Thank you for your loving arms Father.

I give my heart to you. I feel your love, I can’t get enough of you. You’re perfect.

I love you Abba. Bless you. In Jesus name.

AMEN.

Zephaniah 3:11-12 (NIV) On that day you, Jerusalem, will not be put to shame
for all the wrongs you have done to me,
because I will remove from you
your arrogant boasters.
Never again will you be haughty
on my holy hill.
But I will leave within you
the meek and humble.
The remnant of Israel
will trust in the name of the LORD.

Written by Jung

As Zephaniah speaks of the fall of Jerusalem, it warns of God’s abolishment of the arrogant and proud from it.

Then, only the humble and meek will remain to trust and worship the Lord.

The fall of Jerusalem was meant to purify Israel.

Brothers and sisters, in His grace, whatever you are going through, tough and tiring, Jesus is purifying us through them without ceasing.

Face the world with confidence that our good God is with us, and what remains in us will be holy in His sight because we will praise Him.
