Open wide your mouth and I will fill it. “But my people would not listen to me; Israel would not submit to me. So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts to follow their own devices. “If my people would only listen to me, if Israel would only follow my ways, how quickly I would subdue their enemies and turn my hand against their foes! When you think God…we know there is only Him, our One God, Our Father, Our Lord, our Abba.
When you think of “other gods” in scripture, do you think of a fake golden calf? A human leader who thinks they are greater?
Actually our sin can creep up on us easier or more sneakily than we think.
Life is beautiful, difficult, challenging, rewarding…you name it. When you walk with God…you will always see the blessing side of things.
Then there are times you do life…it gets stressful and we fall upon other things..these so call things we focus on that becomes our god: worldly teachings, rules and regulations, things that society tells you what will make you or break you. You fall to your own strength against such pressures and before you know it, you have lost sight of Jesus.
God is patient. God is love. God will wait you out. What’s the secret? Seek God out in your times of confusion. Do not make the worldly things your lesser god. If you become guided by it, that is what it represents.. a focus that is NOT Abba.
If you struggle CALL on Him. There is nothing you think that He does not already know. There is no challenge you must struggle through alone to reach your place…and our place is our purpose. Our purpose is His Will. His will gives us PEACE, LOVE, EVERLASTING LIFE.
Have faith brother and sisters…weather through the storms..not alone, but with Jesus. That’s the secret sauce!!!
