After Jesus was resurrected, he restored Peter who denied three times by asking this question three times.

“Do you love me?”

As Peter was restored, Jesus commands him.

“Take care of my sheep.”

Jesus was saying, ‘You can deny me, persecute me or even leave me to die, but if you love me, take care of my sheep.’
