Today is the first day of my last semester at University.
I’ve been trying to plan and prepare myself for everything I have to do, but I’ve just been finding myself anxious and worried about everything that could go wrong.
Sometimes we get so focused on our own strength and plans to forget that we do not have all the answers. That is a very heavy burden to carry on your own, especially when Jesus tells us all the time in His word that we should take our worries to Him.
The Lord promises to guide us through with His loving eye. So today and going forward I will take pleasure in knowing that Jesus will show me the way and I do not have to worry because His plans are always good.
May we allow His counsel to lead us in the decisions we make in life – for when we delight ourselves in the Lord HE gives us the desires of our heart.
