May be it’s my defensive gentile thinking, I just can’t accept that Jesus thought of her as a dog.

Perhaps, it was a test for the woman to see how much she is willing to give up to have his Grace.

Would she hold on to her dignity or surrender everything of herself to be in His mercy.

This Canninite woman was willing to give up everything to have Jesus’ mercy.

In Jesus, we do not need to hold on to anything, because He is our dignity.
