Can you imagine being responsible for our salvation?

Oh the inevitable panic. ‘Have I done wrong?’ ‘Have I missed something?’ I will be second-guessing until the day I die. Also, I would expect the worst out of my life, so I won’t get disappointed by my failure at the end.

However, if I couldn’t boast for my own salvation, it means I am not responsible for it.

Since our Heavenly Father is in charge of my salvation, I can look beyond securing it. I am saved and Jesus guarantees it. So, I can truly live my life. It won’t be to gain points, or to feel secure, but to enjoy and see the life to the fullest as it meant to be.

It is truly the gift of freedom that is never meant to be possible with our own power.
