When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them. “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.
John 13:12‭-‬14

Feet washing is one of the events that shows Jesus’ incredible humility.

He knealt down and washed the disciples’ feet one by one.

Its was so outrageous that it made them uncomfortable.

It shows how much Jesus wanted has disciples (us) to stay clean from the world, not once but continuously.

This is what we should have in our hearts. A desire to help one another of stay free and clean from this world. It should be our hearts to do whatever it takes to help each other to stay in Jesus.
