Hello my family

This is a message for Easter Sunday

After proclaiming to lay down his life for Jesus, Peter denied Jesus three times.

Because Moses didn’t follow God’s instruction exactly in Meribah (striking the rocks instead of speaking to it), he was not banned from entering the promised land. Yes, he died in the desert.

Then, how did Peter get away with denying Jesus three times?

Because Jesus carry the cross and made the new covenant, peter’s failure and sins were not counted against him.

Jesus asks Peter the same question three times, “Do you love me, Peter?” Then, he asked Peter to join him in taking care of his sheep.

Only condition to take away Peter’s sin was his answer to this question. “Do you love me?”

My family, Jesus is asking this question and asking you to join him in loving one another.

“Do you love me?”

I love you Jesus.
