Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only; Not that I desire your gifts; what I desire is that more be credited to your account. I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.

Philippians 4:15‭, ‬17‭-‬18

‘An acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.’

It sounds wonderful, is t it? The Philipians didn’t send gifts (offering) to be recognized by Paul or God.

Paul was likely in jail when he wrote this letter and in the ancient time, they didn’t feed prisoners.

An offering that is pleasing to God is not something that we give in a fancy envelope with our name on it.

When we reach out to one another in their time of needs, our gift becomes ‘an acceptable saceifice, pleasing offering’ to God. Even R10.

Can we think of a way to bless someone with R10?
